Our client is an online lead generation company that creates high-quality leads in many verticals, such as iGaming, Financials, Health and Communications. They focus on building high-end websites with quality content that lets customers make an informed decision about the product they’re about to buy, by adopting a customer-focused approach to quality and usability.

We are currently looking to recruit a strong Lead WordPress Developer, who will spearhead the frontend development of our client. The Lead WordPress Developer will be responsible for shaping the efficient development of new products/widgets/features defined by the development department to achieve and maintain a competitive edge at all times.

Responsibilities:

As Lead WordPress Developer, your broad responsibilities will include but are not limited to:

  • Collaborating with stakeholders to understand project requirements
  • Oversee technical aspects of the CMS and server-side configurations for optimal performance
  • Code responsive and user-friendly websites based on specifications or designs
  • Optimising website performance and load times
  • Create a consistent user experience across various platforms and devices
  • Optimise website templates for SEO strategies and techniques
  • Troubleshooting and resolving technical issues promptly
  • Oversee technical aspects of the CMS and server-side configurations for optimal performance.
  • Offer support and training to team members to achieve the goals
  • Document code, solutions, and methodologies for future reference or team member use
  • Extend the platform’s functionality as necessary through custom development of WordPress custom post types, plugins, or REST API connections
  • Maintain high code quality that adheres to community standards for accessibility
  • Conducting website performance tests

Requirements: 

  • Proficiency in programming languages like HTML, CSS, JavaScript, and PHP(8)
  • Strong knowledge of WordPress CMS and its ecosystem
  • Understanding of WordPress themes and plugins
  • Familiarity with responsive web design principles
  • Strong experience with CSS preprocessors or the latest equivalent
  • Excellent communication and teamwork skills
  • Experience with version control systems like Git.

Experience

  • Understanding of various data formats such as JSON, XML, CSV, etc.
  • Strong understanding of HTTP Requests, HTML markup, AJAX
  • Experience with Database, PostgreSQL as well Data warehousing
  • Experience in affiliation marketing
